That is how long we have had Mr. Henry. 4 weeks doesn't seem like that many but when you think about it in days and hours it's a lot! We have loved every week, day, hour and second.
He has started smiling a lot more and is generally a pretty mellow baby. If he is fussy it is usually just because he is getting hungry, needs his diaper changed or needs to burp. He sleeps around 3 hours at a time during the night. There were a few times he slept 6 (that was his first week home and hasn't happened since. bummer). During the day he is awake more than he used to be. When you burp him he will hold his head up and has a crazy strong neck. However, it gets tired and he will often slam it into my shoulder, collar bone, or face. He loves this little infant rocker we have that has a calming vibration. He could sleep in that for hours, and has slept in it at night sometimes. He does love his cradle that Clark made though. He spits up A TON after he eats. Sometimes I wonder if he even has any milk left in his belly. And sometimes it will come out his nose. Sad I know. He doesn't seem super upset about it. It bothers me more than it bothers him. I need to ask his pediatrician about that.... He seems to be gaining weight so I guess it's fine. I got on the scale with him the other day and according to that he weighs 10lbs. So he has gained 2 pounds since his 2 week check up. To me he seems so big, but everyone comments how little he is. And in the last couple of days he has started to lose his cute fuzzy hair. He has an old man receding hair line so now his forehead looks huge! It is so funny. I really don't want him to lose his cute hair, so hopefully it grows back. Oh and he loves the car. If he is fussy, as soon as we start driving he falls asleep. He also likes going for walks in his stroller.
We love our little guy so much and I'm already worried about how I will ever love another child this much!
