Thanksgiving

For Thanksgiving we headed down to Kaysville to spend the weekend with Clark's family!  His sister Kim, Natalie & Shad with their kids, Angie, Carolyn & Blaine, and Grandma were all able to be there.  We missed Brett & Melissa and their kids who live in Colorado and we missed Brad & Jill and their kids who live in Japan!

Getting ready to eat!  Angie and I made these little Turkey's to put at everyone's plates!  Angie is so creative :)
WELCOME HOME SHAD!  Shad was able to make it home just in time for Thanksgiving dinner.  He had been gone since the first of October, and we were all happy to see him.  He flies the F-16 for the Air Force, and had been in his jet for 12 hours straight flying home that day!  We were all thankful for his safe arrival, and all of the Troops!  I'm so thankful I live in America
Hope everyone had a Happy Thanksgiving!  We are starting the Christmas Season off by going down to the Festival of Trees on Tuesday to help Blaine & Carolyn pick out a tree!  Happy Holidays

Pumpkin Carving

Clark and I carved our pumpkins on Wednesday evening.
Here our finished pumpkins!  I did the haunted house and Clark carved the witch.

The next night I went over to my sister Allison's house for dinner and to carve and paint some pumpkins
Max is in his painting shirt and ready to get painting

Here he is concentrating so hard on his master piece!  You know he is working hard because is little tongue is sticking out

Adrienne and Lorie didn't carve or paint pumpkins. Apparently Adrienne is grossed out by pumpkin carving, the inside makes her sick!
Lorie is holding one of the pumpkins Max had already painted, so cute.

The die hard pumpkin carvers who aren't afraid of a little pumpkin guts!
My dad was going for the "psycho" look

Halloween Festivities

Clark and I went out to the Heritage Center to find some pumpkins.  While we were there we decided to go through the corn maze.  We cheated and went through the rows of corn a few times!  We found some good pumpkins and finished the corn maze in record time, it was a good afternoon.
Lost in the corn maze!

Clark saying we finished it in 10 minutes!  I think that is a record... except we cheated so it doesn't count.
Here we are as Wilbur from Charlottes' Web!

More Soccer

Last weekend was the Regional Tournament for USU.  They played a total of 4 games and ended in 3rd place.  They lost to Weber, who then went on to the finals and lost to Oregon.  All in all they did pretty well.  The coach was an idiot and didn't use subs the first 2 games on Friday.  I guess I lied I think he put Clark in for about 7 minutes each game, but still that is not fair. Everyone was so tired and 2 guys ended up getting injured and their main keeper was injured from a previous game.  So on Saturday when they played their 3rd and 4th games everyone was so tired and they were down 2 guys. The coach is not fair in who he lets play and it drives me nuts.  He will play some guys the whole game and then some guys 10 minutes.  Well Clark played most of the time on Saturday, which was a nice change.  I struggled getting good pictures... I'm not good at action shots!

Here is the team minus the keeper who was injured and maybe a few others.  They played well this year compared to last year.  Clark's not sure if he will play next year since his coach is unfair in who he lets play.  I guess if you go to all of the practices, get all of the jersey's ordered and printed with numbers, and plan soccer parties at your pool, you can't play!
