More Soccer

So Clark's final soccer games are this weekend in Ogden at Weber State.  They were going to be in Park City but they changed it to Weber which is less of a drive for us and hopefully warmer weather.  If any of you happen to be in the area or want to take a drive here is the schedule.

Friday Oct. 24th
12pm- Utah State vs. Utah Valley (field #2)
4 pm Oregon vs. Utah State (field #1)
*I'm not quite sure which fields are which, so if you really want to come call me and I'll let you know when I find out.

Saturday Oct. 25th
11am Utah State vs. Idaho State (field #2)

Semi-finals: 4pm
This depends on the winners from group A and B.  Utah State is in group B along with Oregon, Utah Valley, and Idaho.  Both times they played ISU, USU killed them but I'm not sure about Oregon or UVU.  So they may have a chance to play in the semi-finals.  Weber is really good this year and they are in group A so I bet they will be the winners of group A going against someone in group B.

Sunday Oct. 26th
10am Final
Whoever wins this game goes on to nationals!  We will see what happens.

Also I want to say good luck to my cousin Sam.  She plays on the Logan High School girls soccer team, and they have state games this weekend!  Go LHS!

Fall Break

For Fall Break Clark and I headed up to Bear Lake to the cabin.  His brother Brett and his family were visiting from Colorado Springs, so the whole family came up to the cabin.  I went with the boys on a four-wheeler ride up to Temple Peak on Friday.  There was a little bit of snow up there and a lot of mud!  Then on Saturday the boys went hunting, I came home to watch my cousin Sam play soccer and to hang out with Adrienne and Max.  Hunting is not my thing

The boys were more interested in throwing big rocks off the cliff and seeing how far they rolled

Clark and I up on Temple Peak

This is on Saturday after Clark shot the deer
Thats the face of a true hunter... It must be the mustache!

Poor little deer, never saw that bullet coming.  I'm glad I was not there to witness the skinning of the deer.

Fall Photos

I am on a blogging role lately!  I finally have something to blog about and some pictures.  On Saturday after Clark's soccer game we decided to go on a hike to enjoy the fall colors.  We hiked up to the wind caves and it was awesome.  We took SO MANY pictures because everywhere we looked we saw beautiful fall colors. We started the hike around 4pm so a few pictures were too dark without the sun, but here are a few of them, I won't bore you with all 90 pictures that we took!  We got a little crazy!

A view from the cave
I took this picture on Saturday (Fall 08)

I took this photo Fall 2006.... they are almost the same picture

Our view as we walked along the trail
Family Photo!
We hiked clear up there!
Basically what we saw the whole time.... Gorgeous
Clark made me go on the little bridge to take a picture... I was too scared to stand so I chose to sit.  I don't like heights when I'm on the edge of a cliff or sitting above a cave.
This is probably my favorite time of year because of the weather and the leaves!  I love living in Logan for this reason.  The canyon is so gorgeous in the fall.  Also Clark and I enjoy taking pictures (we think we are pretty artsy sometimes!)

Just Some Random Pics

I just uploaded my pictures from my camera onto my computer so I had some that I thought I would share.  This is my mom and sister Melissa.  She came to Utah a couple weeks ago and while she was out here she told my mom she was pregnant!  The sisters already new but she wanted to tell my mom in person.  So if it looks like my mom was crying....it's because she was and screaming!  She was excited!  Baby Marquis will be here in March

This is just a cute one of my nephew Max!  I love his shirt, Melissa's sister in law and friend have a clothing line called Haute Boyz and they make the cutest shirts for babies and toddlers!

I went to my first demolition derby back in August and it was actually fun!  The best was when one truck got knocked over and caught on fire!  I didn't have my camera ready though, maybe next time.

Showing my excitement for the demolition derby

Marathon Madness

In my opinion running a marathon is madness, who would want to run 26 miles for fun?  The answer is my dad!  He ran the Top Of Utah marathon last weekend with a time of 3 hrs. and 33 min. Which is way awesome and he qualified for the Boston marathon which he will be running in the spring.  Even though we think he is sort of crazy we all came out to cheer him on! Here are some pics from the fun day.

Here are some of the supporters!  Max was so excited to see "papa" run that when my dad was done, Max kept saying "I want to see papa run again".

Getting the umbrellas out for the "rain storm" we thought was coming.  It would rain for about 2 minutes then stop.

Here he is going in for some high-fives from the grandsons

This picture is out of order here he is all finished and smiling! I think it may have to do with the face that he is done and drinking a nice cold Dr. Pepper
Here he is coming up on the finish line making great time!

I think my family loves running, because my uncles came up with the idea to make up their own "Ultra Half-Marathon"  It is ultra because it will actually be 15 miles.  All these runners in my family makes me want to start running and train to do the Ultra Half-Marathon....I'm thinking I may have to wait for next year unless I can walk most of the way!

Sisters, Sisters there were never such devoted sisters!

(If any of you have sisters I'm sure you understand the title and that it is from the movie White Christmas! Classic)
I'm not really sure why I started a blog, I never have exciting things to blog about. But I was in the mood to do a post so I decided to do one about my sisters! My sister Melissa lives in LA and she is in Utah for the weekend! We always love when Melissa comes to visit because she is the only one who lives out of state. The rest of us live here in good ole' Cache Valley and see each other on a daily basis! When Melissa comes we usually all try to get together, so I'm going down tomorrow with my sister Allison and her son Max to hang out with Melissa and my mom. Poor Adrienne can't come because of work and a wedding, she will be missed. Oh and little sister Katie can't come either because she is only 12 and still in school, she too will be missed. Well we of course always have fun together just talking (loudly and non-stop) going to lunch and hanging out. Here are some pictures of the "Emmett Girls" at their finest....

Blast from the Past!
